We have been having lots of fun in the kitchen experimenting with cornflour. Introducing our newest creation: Apple Crumble Bars! These bars are somewhat crunchy, definitely crumbly, and bursting with apple flavor. They are a bit more work-intensive than our other recipes, but the effort is 100% worth it. Smiles guaranteed!

Amazing Apple Cinnamon Upside Down Cake
Before I discovered my love for baking and cooking, I often did not know what to do with apples that I considered too ripe for my taste – I’m a very picky apple eater. Gosh, was I clueless back then! Nowadays, I use ripe apples to make homemade applesauce (great egg-, butter-, or oil replacer!) or other apple dishes such as banana apple chunks bread and apple cinnamon upside down cake. The recipe for the latter was inspired by a recipe published on Chef Chloe’s blog.

Go bananas! Delectable Banana Apple Chunks Bread
On Tuesday, I combined two of my favorite hobbies: baking and watching soccer. While watching the international friendly between Germany and Italy (4:1!!!), I made super delicious banana apple chunks bread. This outlandishly good bread is very rich in nutrients (Yay!). Most of the ingredients are excellent sources of fiber, protein, potassium and antioxidants, just to name a few.Β This bread is the ultimate guilt-free, healthy vegan dessert. Dessert?
