Vegan_Brownies_Low-SugarI believe that when it comes to brownies, there usually are two opposing teams. Those that favor fudge-like brownies and those that prefer cake-like ones. In my opinion, the ideal brownie is one that is a melange of both. My brownie recipe still needs some tweaking until it reaches that state of perfection; however, as compensation for your patience, I would like to present you the following recipe for ultra delicious, low sugar brownies. These cake-like goodies not only taste phenomenal, but are also rich in fiber and antioxidants. To top it off, they are made with cocoa powder, which contains phenethylamine, a neurotransmitter that acts as a natural antidepressant and helps boost happiness levels. Need a pick-me-up? Delicious Vegan Soft Pretzels

Vegan_Soft_PretzelsI love going to concerts and I always find it kind of hilarious when an artist tries to speak German. It is truly a difficult language to learn, so I give them credit for trying. Usually their vocabulary is limited to “Ich liebe Deutschland” or “Dankeschön”. At a recent Macklemore & Ryan Lewis concert in Hamburg, Germany, Macklemore introduced the song “Let’s Eat!” by saying something along the lines of  “I love Schnitzel and Bratwurst, not Sauerkraut”. Schnitzel is originally from Austria (Whoops!), but who cares! That’s how you get an audience of 7,000 Germans screaming for joy.
