I am delighted to say that we are finally experiencing some warmer temperatures and sunshine here in Germany. Just thinking about it makes me smile. Other smile-worthy news is that it is finally berry season. Yay! The grocery stores and markets are currently well-stocked with delicious, juicy strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and other members of the “berry” family. Frozen berries simply cannot give fresh berries a run for their money. This is truly the perfect time to bake with berries.
Delicious Peanut Butter Cookies
Today, I baked a fresh batch of vegan peanut butter cookies for a dear friend of mine, who is going through a difficult time in her life at the moment. I know that these cookies won’t relieve her pain, but I still hope that they will make her smile. These chewy and delicious peanut butter cookies are one of my friend’s favorites and I hope that you will like them just as much as she does. Awesome Chocolate Chip Cookies
Unfortunately, I had to take a blogging hiatus because my newish laptop said “hasta la vista baby” after just three months in my possession. I’m no computer genius, but I honestly didn’t do anything wrong. The computer technician tried to convince me that the weather gods were responsible for the damage. He claimed that the laptop received an electric shock. Fortunately, that couldn’t be verified and consequently, my warranty kicked in and I had to pay nada for the repair job (almost 800 Euros!!! in damages) – phew!
